BANGALORE: India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has reportedly offered his resignation to the selectors following the exclusion of RP Singh for the remainder of the ODI series against England.Dhoni was disappointed with the selectors for the decision to bring in Irfan Pathan in place of the UP fast bowler for the fourth, fifth and sixth ODIs.According to reports, MS Dhoni and the Indian selectors had an argument over the same during the selection meet."It's a bit of a surprise," a source in the Indian team revealed. "He needs to play more matches. He is absolutely fit. He was getting better despite not playing much in the last few matches," added the source.The newly formed selection committee, headed by former Indian cricketer Kris Srikkanth had met on Wednesday (November 19) for the team selections when the differences apparently cropped up.
